::bangs head on table:: Whew I'm getting a headache! I think we can say that Takeuchi-san was hit on the head while designing this, ne? The most un-mangled, IMHO, is Venus. I actually like her skirt with the stripes, and the gloves aren't that bad either. The scarf for the bow is a tad long and too poufy, but all in all, Venus looks better than her original Sailor V get-up! Sailor Moon is also pretty much left alone. I like her boots; Naoko should've kept that. The yellow arm-thingamabobbers don't go with the outfit. The bodice of Mars' is strange. I think the bow is up too high and there's too much layering. Her mask is ICK. Mercury. Mercury...reminds me of an American Airlines flight attendant, what with the microphone, the buttons, etc. Again, Takeuchi-san gives her really good shoes. The symbol of Mercury is genius! Now Jupiter. She's got too much on her face; no doubt about it. A mask, some wacko thing under her mouth, AND an antenna? She's wearing a cropped top and a skirt, which looks REALLY strange. The wings (feathers?) are a creative touch to the skirt, which, again, does not look that awful. (What is it with Takeuchi-san and really good shoes and skirts?)

Now, you can only see bits of the outfits, since the senshi's heads are all covering it up 0_o, but I'll guide you through it. Hmmmm, you can only see the gorgeous rose color of Usagi's and Minako's...you can't see Hotaru's at all...Michiru's is partially covered by her hair...but the other outfits are reviewable. This whole collection, all in all, is very clean-cut and simple. No experimenting. Chibiusa's jumper is a nice color, and there's just a perfect, simple white shirt to accommodate it. Setsuna and Makoto's shirts are solid with one white stripe; sporty. Ami's looks really cute (note: I LOVE the way Ami dresses in the manga; it gives her a previously unexplored fun side). The colors go well together. Focus on Rei for a moment. No, not at her gorgeous hunter green shirt, but at her neck. I think the necklace (?) is a good touch, and the cross looks great, even though Rei is not Christian. I also like how Haruka's blouse drapes around her. It fits her very well; it also looks like it's made of silk ^_^. Oh, and another random miscellaneous note: I absolutely LOVE it when Takeuchi-san has only one or two hair colors running through the whole piece. It's interesting to see the senshi in different hair colors!
